Before Your Appointment

  • Discontinue any use of Retanol, Retin A, and Vitamin A 5 days prior to your procedure. 
  • Do not ingest alcohol the night before your procedure.
  • Do not consume caffeine the day of your procedure. 

Aftercare

  • Sun exposure should be avoided for the first few days after the procedure is done. It is required to wear SPF indefinitely after healing is complete.
  • Do not use harsh cleansers, moisturizers, or exfoliators on effected areas within 24 hours after completing treatment.
  • Avoid products that contain AHA, Glycolic Acid, or Retin-A
  • Do not apply makeup to affected areas within 24 hours after completing treatment.
  • Avoid washing or moisturizing your face for 24 hours
  • Avoid Working out or swimming for 7 days
  • Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated 
  • Avoid heat, saunas, hot baths, jacuzzi, or a hot hair dryer for 5 days
  • DO NOT HAVE ANY OTHER FACIAL PROCEDURES FOR 2 WEEKS

Avoid This Procedure If

  • You are pregnant or nursing.
  • You have a skin disease, skin infection, skin cancer, or any open wounds on your face.
  • You are allergic to the products being used.
  • Have had fillers within two weeks of receiving procedure.
  • Are taking Accutane.
  • Are taking blood thinners.
